NatureSardar Sarovar Dam

Sardar Sarovar Dam is a gravity dam built on River Narmada at Kevadiya, Navagam in Gujarat. The basis stone was placed by Late Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on 5th April 1961. The project started in 1979 to produce hydroelectricity and increase irrigation. The dam was built with modern engineering technology using the world’s 2nd largest cable crane in terms of the span. The Sardar Sarovar Dam is the world’s 2nd largest dam in terms of volume of concrete used, having the longest canal network in the world, with the largest water carrying capacity of 40000 cusecs, much more than the volume of water flowing in most rivers in Gujarat. The Dam is the lifeline of Gujarat. The dam place is well connected by road with major cities of Gujarat. The tourists can hire a guide from the dam reception in which they cover six various points which include a garden, the foundation stone, the first lock gate, a lake for boating and a trekking point for adventure lovers. The best time to visit the dam is the starting of winter during October and November, visitors can stay at Narmada Tent City at night to explore the surrounding beauty of this place.
Valley of Flowers

Valley of Flowers is one of the major attractions of Statue of Unity located at Kevadia Colony in Gujarat. At present in the first phase, the valley of flowers is developed in 250 hectors of the area later phase it was going to develop in 3000 hectors the total area of the valley will be 3200 hectors. In this valley, two lakes are named Poyani and kamal are developed. The entire area of Valley of Flowers is covered with a drip irrigation system that was used in the flower of the valley. The Statue of Unity is surrounded by nearly 17 km long covering of colorful flowers along the banks of River Narmada to make the spot approaching a rainbow of flowers setup on earth. The Valley of Flowers have more than 100 variety of flowers like Gulmohar (red), Champo (white), Khakhro (red), Pongaro (red), shrubs like Galtora (red and yellow), Tecoma (yellow), Garmado (yellow and red) Boganveliya (yellow pink, white, and red) Nerium, and climbers like bamboos Wadeliya, Allamandacathartica, and, Qualisis and colorful grasses, all seasons flowers like Calendula, Sunflower, Vinca, Marigold, and others are planted in Valley of Flowers
Cactus Garden

The Cactus Garden is located on the banks of River Narmada on the opposite side of the Flower of Valley as per the saying that this cactus garden will be one of the largest cactus gardens in the country. In this Garden various continents Cactus are brought planted and grown here, The cactus are of wide range with various sizes and shapes. The cactus is found in very extremely harsh environments normally these cactus are found in Desert and the driest places on earth. Cactus is native to America, ranging from Patagonia in the south to parts of western Canada in the north, but few cactus species are found in Sri Lanka and Africa. Many Cactus are brought from Orissa and Karnataka. Most of the species of cacti have needles which are real leaves of the plant. These spikes save the plant from the eating by the animals and also prevent the water loss by reducing the airflow. It has some shades on the leaves. As it has no true leaves, the stems carried out the photosynthesis process. At present, the largest cactus garden located in Chandigarh has 272 species where this Cactus Garden has more than 330 species.
Butterfly garden

The Butterfly Garden was built on the left bank of the dam, opposite to Statue of Unity. A Butterfly Garden has been meticulously created where the colorful world of these delicate creatures can be enjoyed. The garden covers nearly 6 acres of area with 38 species of butterflies and 45 species of plants. In the Butterfly Garden interactive models like pollination and butterfly, selfie models, human size and animal size comparative models are the key attractions of this Garden. The Butterfly Garden has been planted in a way to create an environment that attracts butterflies and gives them a habitat for them to proliferate. Since butterflies feed on the nectar of flowers, there are hundreds of flowering plants that will provide them with food. There are also suitable places for them to lay eggs and host plants for caterpillars to thrive. Visit this beautifully designed park to get a close view of stunning butterflies.
Jungle Safari

Jungle Safari is located at Kevadia Zoological Park and it covers nearly 558240 square meters on the bank of River Narmada it is located about 2 km far from the Statue of Unity. In this Jungle Safari, there are 170 species of fauna from countries like Asia, America, Australia, and Africa. The tourist can also watch magnificent big cats like Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard and above all the famous Asiatic Lion. Other animals like rhinos, giraffes and 12 types of antelopes, zebras, deer, and other exotic animals are also found here. The safari was designed in such a way that tourists can watch every activity of the animal, watch birds and spot reptiles. Jungle Safari will have five sections each for mammals, carnivorous, herbivorous and water animals
Children Nutrition Park

The Children Nutrition Park is located near the Swagat Sthal (Tourist information Centre) which one of the major attractions at the Kevadia Tourism circuit. This park is not only useful to children but it is very useful to parents. The Aim of this park is to raise awareness about nutrition among the children and their parents. The tour of the park will be conducted through a train ride, travelling through various stations equipped with interactive games and activities, including a virtual reality playing arena and much more. Here children and their parents can gain an enthralling and enjoyable experience combined with learning about nutrition, horticulture and food processing in that way that it will be fun for children and their parents.
Ekta Mall

Ekta Mall is a representation of unity in diversity, which is the symbol of Indian culture. Arogya Van is spread by nearly 15 acres. In this Arogya Van the wide range of medicinal plants and health-related landscapes. The aim of this garden is to raise awareness about the important role played by plants in the wellness of human beings. Emphasis will also be laid on Ayurveda, Meditation and Yoga for being an integral part of a person well being. The key highpoint will be an ‘Arogya Manush’, a human form made consuming plants and shrubs. Each human organ would be represented by a medicinal plant which is valuable for that particular organ. Zarvani Eco-Tourism

Zarvani is situated in the Satpuda mountain series on the banks of the divine river of Rewa near Sardar Sarovar. It is placed in the Shoolpaneshwar Sanctuary of the Narmada Forest Division. It is a famous place between tourists and nature lovers. During the monsoon here tourists can watch full- sized waterfall due to it many tourists visit this place. The water of this waterfall is so clean that one can watch through it and catch small fishes at the bottom of the waterfall. Khalvani Eco-Tourism

Khalvani Eco-Tourism is located near Sardar Sarovar Dam along the bank of everlasting stream fed by the waters released from the Godbole Gate. The area is enclosed by hillocks bearing typical deciduous forests of this area. The tweeting of avifauna, the flowing waters of the divine Narmada, the undulating terrain and the different shades of green foliage makes this place perfect for hiking and camping. Tourists can enjoy activities like river crossing, Burma bridge, river rafting, rock climbing, tubing, rappelling, and horse riding. The tourists can enjoy tribal culture by tasting Herbal Kava, juices from local fruits like amla, imli, mango, Jamun, etc and authentic tribal food. Mirror Maze

The Mirror Maze is also known as the house of mirrors which included as a part of Children's Nutrition Park. In the Mirror Maze, there are various sizes and forms of the mirror that are kept in this mirror maze. To add to the eagerness of exploring the maze, visitors will experience various obstacles while navigating between the starting and endpoints like a shaking bridge, etc.
Poicha Dham Temple

Poicha village is located on the bank of holy river Narmada which nearly 40 km away from Status of Unity. In this village, the famous Nilkanth Dham Swaminarayan Temple is situated in poicha village. It is a beautiful Swaminarayan temple constructed in a large area and one of the most amazing pilgrimages to visit. Here the visitors can have divine experience by visiting the Sahajanand universe, where visitors can watch, exhibition zone, Kids play zone, food court, and many others. The Dham looks spectacular in the evening when the light show starts in the evening.
Vishwa Van a global garden

The Vishwa Van was developed in an area of 2 hectares is located between the two bridges next to the Statue of Unity. Vishwa Van contains herbs, shrubs, and trees native to all the 7 continents signifying the underlying theme of "Unity in Diversity" in the global context. It has a diverse assemblage of flora representing every continent of the world. The vegetation is arranged in a way to resemble the natural forest of that place. The aim of this Vishwa Van was to educate the tourists about biogeography the study of the distribution of species and ecosystems in geographic space. Clusters have been developed for maintaining a suitable environment for raising the seedlings of the forest of the world. The inspiration was taken from the five Olympic rings with a distinct color for each continent. The motive for Vishwa Van is to combine the world's forests and gardens. A path runs along the wavy margins of the continents with a spectacular view of the Statue of Unity on one side and the beautiful forested hills on others. This wonderful assembly clubbed with the splendor of foliage from all corners of the world make this place truly remarkable.
