The cost of Statue of Unity is 2989 crore rupees tender was given for the Construction of Statue of Unity. The amount was spending ₹ 1,347 crores is meant for building the statue and ₹ 235 crores for constructing the exhibition center and convention center. The remainder will go into building research and development centers and the bridge connecting the memorial with the mainland.

The 300 Engineers worked during the construction of the Statue of Unity. The statue has been engineered to wind speeds of up to 50 m per second (almost 180 km/hr.). The challenge is not only of the wind blowing against the statue but the succession effect it creates at the back of the statue that had to consider in the structural design. To arrest any sway of such a tall structure, two Tuned Mass Dampers of 250 tonnes each have been used in any given situation, all the four corners of the base raft remain rooted to the ground. The Statue of Unity can also able to survive earthquakes measuring up to 6.5 on the Richter Scale at a depth of 10 km and within a radius of 12 km of the statue.

Observation Deck
The Observation Deck is situated at the height of about 135 meters near the chest of the Sardar Patel Statue to reach their high-speed elevators are available. From the observation deck, the tourist can watch a panoramic view of the entire Narmada river, dam and surrounding hills Tourist can visit the Statue of Unity from Tuesday to Sunday from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm. Monday the Statue of Unity is closed for maintains. The viewing gallery accommodates nearly 200 people at a time can watch a view of the Satpura and Vindhyachal mountains ranges, from viewing gallery visitors can also able to view the meeting point of three states Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. Museum
The Museum was spread in a 4,647 square meter area. In the museum there are 18 ft high bronze statue will showcase the statue of unity to visitors, A video wall will showcase the process of construction of the statue of unity. Ab audio-video kiosk will offer details of how iron and soil from different states was contributed to the statue of unity. The Statue of Unity offers an inimitable experience and education to visitors. The museum is located at the base of the statue has modern audio-visual systems for an inspiring insight into the life and work of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Visitors to this exhibition can learn about Sardar’s unforgettable contribution to the Indian Independence Movement and the unification of India. Various books and documents related to Sardar Patel were brought from the various museum and kept here.
Laser Show
The Laser Show was held at the mighty tall statue of 182 meters is a canvass of the screen where light and sound show describe the life and times of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Laser show during is 30-minute show is conducted through 51 high-resolution projectors fixed at a distance of 600 meters. The sound and light show will be taking formal shape soon. The Laser Show was held every day except Monday, instilling a feeling of pride and national unity whilst depicting Sardar Patel’s vision for united India. All 51 projectors used for the 30-minute light and sound show are housed in a specialized enclosure customized to suit the enormity of the application, and fitted in a projection room located about 600 meters away from the monument. Specific mirror mechanisms enable the Crimson projectors to display colorful visuals on the statue from such a far throw distance
Lift
The Otis Asia Pacific installed the Lift elevators at Statue of Unity. This company is nearly 165 years old and have installed Lifts to well-known places like Eiffel Tower (Paris), Burj Khalifa (Dubai), Statue of Christ The Redeemer (Brazil), Empire State Building (USA), Petronas Twin Towers (Malaysia) and many others. The two high-speed lifts, with a capacity of 26 passengers, takes under 40 seconds to rise 400 feet to the viewers enclosure on the chest of the worlds tallest statue (182 m) of India's first Deputy Prime Minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The high-speed Skyrise elevators hurtle upwards at a speed of four meters per second, taking the visitors from the core of the gigantic statue, which has now become a popular tourist landmark

The natural effect will see after 100 years on Statue of Unity. There is nothing unusual about the change in color. The Statue of Liberty was originally dull brown in color and turned green in about 30 years due to oxidation.
Wall of Unity
Once you entered, on the left side you will see the wall made up of the soil collected from 169000 villages of India to made up this wall. Wall of Unity spreads the useful message about the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who united all the states of India and made it as one country called India.
